You plan to tape your audition tomorrow morning, but then you book a gig and suddenly you're on set all day. Your tape is still due tomorrow night - now it's 9pm, your set-up is ready, you're in the zone, but there's just one thing missing: a reader.Between day jobs, booking gigs and unexpected commitments, finding someone to read with you can sometimes be the hardest part. Same goes for wanting to practice a last-minute presentation or speech.
Friends and family are wonderful but there's only so many favors you can ask!That's why I created this service:

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. SERVICE PROVIDED
This service provides live, remote reading and rehearsal support via an online video & audio platform. Sessions may include reading for auditions, rehearsals, scripts, and practice for presentations, speeches and other agreed practice activities. The service does not provide recorded footage of any session. The service does not provide casting opportunities, representation, employment, or a guarantee of professional outcomes.
2. BOOKING & PAYMENT
All sessions must be booked and paid for via the platform. A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully received and confirmation has been issued. Clients are responsible for providing accurate booking information and for ensuring they can access the session remotely.
3. CANCELATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY
All purchases are final and non-refundable. When you book, you are booking a duration and a time slot. Cancellations are non-refundable, except where the service provider is unable to deliver a confirmed session. Rescheduling must be requested greater than 4 hours prior to the start of the confirmed appointment, and can only be honored once. If a client reschedules a session more than once, the booking will be canceled, and the payment will be non-refundable. This process is to ensure that the time slot you booked can be opened and available to others who may need to book at that time.
4. SESSION PREPARATION
Clients should provide any relevant scripts, sides, materials, or instructions in advance where possible. Sessions begin and end at the scheduled times. The readers are not required to prepare for any session in advance of the appointment time.
5. LATE ARRIVALS
If a client arrives late, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time. Late arrival does not guarantee an extension.
6. CLIENT MATERIALS & CONFIDENTIALITY
Clients retain responsibility for the materials they provide and must have the right to share them for the session. Scripts, audition sides, presentations and other materials shared with our service are treated as confidential and will not knowingly be shared with third parties or used for purposes unrelated to the booked session. All materials shared with the service are for the purposes of the booked session only, and will be permanently deleted upon completion of the session.
7. PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT
Both parties are expected to behave respectfully. The service provider reserves the right to end a session in cases of abusive, discriminatory, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate conduct.
8. TECHNOLOGY & CONNECTIVITY
Clients are responsible for having a suitable internet connection, device, and working audio/video setup. If technical problems prevent the session from proceeding, the parties will make reasonable efforts to reconnect or arrange an appropriate alternative. In the event that there are technical/connectivity issues on the reader’s side beyond our control, we will happily refund your session in full.
9. LIMITATION OF SERVICE
The service provides reading and rehearsal support only. No feedback is provided on material content. No guarantee is made regarding auditions, casting decisions, employment, presentation outcomes, or other results.
10. PRIVACY
Booking information will be handled in accordance with the service's privacy policy and applicable data protection laws.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The On-Call Reader provides a platform for reading support. While we aim for a seamless digital experience, The On-Call Reader and its contractors are not liable for any damages resulting from the use of our website, technical interruptions, or reliance on provided information. By using our services, you agree that your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to discontinue use of the site.
